With 2.9% jobless rate, Nebraska boasts 'excellent job market' « Back to Search Results

Nebraska’s unemployment rate was 2.9 percent in January, the Nebraska Department of Labor reported Tuesday, just behind North Dakota’s 2.8 percent, which remains lowest in the nation.

The Nebraska figure is down from 3.1 percent in December, which was revised from a previously reported 2.9 percent, and down from 3.4 percent a year ago.
